FAQ

Is it OK to wash my rugs in my domestic washing machine?
Most rugs are far too big and bulky for a standard domestic machine. Hair deposits from rugs would get on your home washing and buckles/clips could damage your washer drum.

Can I use a household detergent (bio or non-bio) to wash my outdoor rug?
No, because detergents damages the fabrics and will most probably cause your rug to leak.

How often should I reproof my turnout rug?
I recommend rugs are reproofed annually after the rug reaches three years old, depending on the condition of the rug and its history, ie. Previous repairs, etc…

Can I tumble dry my horse rug?
No, you must not tumble dry horse rugs because the nylon bindings on rugs will shrink (not necessarily the rug fabric) and become brittle and hard resulting in the rug fabric gathering into the edges.

Can you guarantee to remove all hair from my rug?
Sorry, I cannot because the loose hair tends to knit itself into the fibres of the rugs resulting impossible total removal especially in fleece rugs. Although I do remove the majority of hair.
